Step 1

Place the Masarepa White Corn Meal into a large glass mixing bowl and mix in the Adobo Light.

Step 2

In a small sauce pan bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Turn off heat and set aside.

Step 3

Pour 1 cup of hot water into a Pyrex or heat safe measuring cup. Slowly add the hot water to the cornmeal about ¼ cup at a time, mixing thoroughly with a strong wooden spoon until the entire cup of water is mixed in to form a dough-like consistency. (If you want a more soft porridge like consistency, pour in the remaining hot water and mix well to achieve desired consistency.)

Step 4

Take the cornmeal dough and form into 4 rectangular loaf shapes (approx. 3¼” x 1” x 1½”)   – 1 per person.
