Spanish Style Garlic Shrimp on Skewers
Ideal for a summertime fiesta, these tantalizing skewers of fresh shrimp smothered in garlic and sandwiched between red bell pepper slices are grilled to perfection in only a few minutes.
Ingredients
1 oz. Goya Olive Oil
1 tsp. Goya Minced Garlic or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 tsp. Goya Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper
1/4 tsp. Goya Crushed Red Pepper or to taste
1 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 large red bell pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
6-8 skewers*
Directions
| 1. | Preheat grill |
| 2. | In a bowl, combine oil, garlic, Adobo and pepper flakes. Set aside. |
| 3. | Alternately skewer shrimp and red pepper pieces. Brush with oil mixture. |
| 4. | Cook on grill until shrimp are opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Turn once or twice. |
* Note: If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 10 minutes before using.
