GOYA FOODS TO DONATE OVER THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS OF FOOD TO HELP FEED THE VICTIMS OF HAITI EARTHQUAKE
1/21/2010 - Secaucus, January 20, 2010. Goya Foods, Inc. the Largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States announced its relief efforts for the victims of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated Haiti. Goya, which has a long history of responding to natural disasters around the globe, mobilized immediately after tragedy struck on January 12th. Goya Puerto Rico brought much-needed personnel and supplies to Port-au-Prince and Goya Dominican Republic has been coordinating with Haitian authorities to send food and supplies over the border. Facilities that are participating in the relief effort on the mainland include Goya Foods in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. Goya Foods Celebrates Christmas by Giving
12/23/2009 - December 23, 2009- Secaucus, NJ – Goya Foods marked the Christmas season by participating with numerous charitable endeavors throughout the Tri-State area. In keeping with its decades-long commitment of supporting local communities, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, in collaboration with New York Mets, donated 5,000 pounds of products to City Harvest, an organization that distributes food to pantries throughout New York City. In addition to the food drive 3,000 toys were distributed to children in New York and New Jersey through Goya’s partnership with the Hispanic Federation, a Manhattan-based service oriented membership organization....
