1. Where can I get a game piece?

Game pieces can be found on participating Goya® products that have the Passport To Flavor Game logo printed on the outside.

Participating products include:
Goya® Black Beans 15.5 oz. cans
Goya® Pink Beans 15.5 oz. cans
Goya® Chick Peas 15.5 oz. cans
Goya® Red Kidney Beans 15.5 oz. cans
Goya® Small Red Beans 15.5 oz. cans

2. Do I need to buy a product to participate?

No. You may request a Game Piece by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Passport To Flavor” Game Piece Request, P.O. Box 673, Ardsley, NY 10502. Mail-in requests must be postmarked by June 1, 2009 and received by June 15, 2009.

3. Where is the game piece located on specially marked packages?

Game pieces are printed behind the labels of specially marked cans of Goya® Blue Label Canned Beans (15.5 oz. only) and cans of Goya® Whole Kernel Corn (15.5 oz. only), Sliced Beets (15 oz. only) and Mixed Vegetables (14.9 oz. only). Game pieces are also printed inside the boxes of specially marked Goya® Yellow Rice (8 oz.) packages.

4. How do I win?

To win:

Find official game pieces on specially marked participating Goya® products
There are two ways to win:
1. Instant Win: $25 Travelers Checks
2. Collect-and-Win: $10,000 Family Vacations to Latin America

The name of a Latin American country (e.g. Puerto Rico) will be printed on every game piece
Collect all of the Latin American countries of any region, and you win a $10,000 Family Vacation there!

5. What are the countries in each Latin American Region?

Caribbean: Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico

North America: Mexico

Central America: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama

South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela

6. Can I combine game pieces from different participating Goya® products to win?

Yes. For example, you can combine game pieces from specially marked packages of Goya® Beans with Goya® Yellow Rice

7. I think I just won. How do I claim my prize?

To claim any prize:

1. Sign your initials in ink across the front of all of your Official Game Pieces. Official Game Pieces should be cut out along the dotted lines.

2. On a 3 x 5 card, neatly print the following:

Your full name
Date of birth
Complete address including street address, apartment number (if any),
city, state and zip code
Day, evening, and cell telephone numbers
E-mail address (if any)

3. Mail via Certified or Registered Mail, return receipt requested, all original Game Pieces and the 3” x 5” card to be received by October 1, 2009 to:

All prize claims received after October 1, 2009 shall be deemed VOID and will be ineligible for prizes.

8. Do Prize Winners have to sign an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release?

Yes. This must be signed before $10,000 vacation prizes will be awarded. If you won a $10,000 vacation prize, you will receive a winner’s letter, an affidavit of eligibility, and a publicity release in the mail within 6 weeks from the date your prize claim was received by the Redemption Center. $10,000 Vacation winners will also receive a W-9 tax form to complete and return. Once you have returned the properly completed paperwork, and we have received and verified your documents, you will receive your $10,000 prize check within 6 – 8 weeks.

Winners of $25 prizes do not have to sign an affidavit of eligibility. Once the prize claim has been verified, you will receive your prize promptly (within 6-8 weeks from the date you mail-in your game piece).

9. If I win a prize, how will my prize be awarded?

All prizes will be paid by check, in one lump sum, upon verification of prize claims of winning game pieces.

10. Do prize claims have to be verified before they are awarded?

Yes, all prize claims must be verified.

11. How are prize claims verified?

The official game administrator, Marketing Visions, Inc., verifies all prize claims. To prevent tampering, many anti-fraud elements are put into the game pieces. The game administrator confirms that all submitted game pieces contain all of these anti-fraud elements.

12. Can I win more than one prize?

Yes.

13. I am not a legal resident of the United States. Am I eligible?

No. As stated in the Official Rules, the "Passport To Flavor" Game is open only to legal residents of the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and the District of Columbia.

14. None of the questions listed here relate to my problem. Who can I contact for more help with my "Passport To Flavor" Game question?
